CalAIM and justice-involved reentry consulting
CalAIM's justice-involved initiatives depend on clinical oversight that works in daily operations: who is eligible, which services are delivered, how care is coordinated before and after release, and how quality is monitored. I advise plans, counties, and correctional agencies on building that oversight.
Conflict of interest policy
I do not consult for organizations that hold contracts with my current employer. Inquiries from such organizations will be declined. This work is independent of my employer and does not use its confidential information.
Who this is for
Health plans, managed care organizations, and vendors serving justice-involved members, including California reentry initiatives under CalAIM.
Typical scope
- Clinical workflows between custody health and community providers
- Care management and transition planning for people returning to the community
- Oversight of pre-release and post-release services
- Utilization management considerations at the point of release
How an engagement starts
Outline the program and population; I scope an advisory engagement.
